Role Summary

You will provide account assistance on a growing portfolio of UK Wholesale risks across the New Business and Renewal teams. You will be accountable for all pre-and post-bind dialogue and documentation and will maintain optimum service standards for our broker and insurer partners.

Role Accountabilities

  • Producing UK Wholesale Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements or other required documentation compliant with London Market guidelines.

  • Using internal and external tools to ensure documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, taxes, etc., for that jurisdiction.

  • Ensuring Consilium SPOE procedure is followed on all documentation before being sent to markets and clients.

  • Liaising with New Business/Account Executives and Client Services Executives daily to ensure that client instructions are adequately actioned.

  • Liaising with clients and insurers where required in a professional and timely manner.

  • Monitor renewals and assist Renewal Executives to ensure these are invited and completed promptly.

  • Full monitoring of risks (new and renewal) through their life cycle to file closure.

  • Inputting and updating policies on the in-house systems accurately and timely.

  • Adhering to the company’s procedures relating to subjectivity tracking to ensure that these are actioned in good time.

  • Assisting Client Services Executives and IBA in resolving issues relating to the markets or clients' payments.

  • Using PPL to bind orders or endorsements as required by your team.

  • Providing ad hoc support to the Team Lead and other team members as needed.

  • Provide and undertake training as required by your line manager.

  • Any additional duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

  • Good UK Wholesale insurance experience (essential)

  • Experience in drafting London Market Reform Contracts (marine)

  • Knowledge of London Market processes and terminology (essential)

  • Working towards insurance qualifications, e.g. CII (preferred)

  • At least 5 A-C Grade GCSE including English and Maths

Skills & Abilities

  • High computer literacy and intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to multitask, manage conflicting priorities, and work well under pressure.

  • Able to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Team worker with the ability to work on your initiative.

  • Solid data entry experience with the ability to identify errors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
