Role Summary:
Working as part of a team under the Broker/MGA operations team, this role will involve completing monthly bordereaux for distribution to carriers via Xchanging or directly to the carrier.
The role will report to the Head of IBA, to provide support for the MGAs and Placing Broker team in the day-to-day processing and monitoring of bordereaux receipt.
The role will require the incumbent to liaise with the underwriting, claims and finance team.
Role Responsibilities:
Undertake monthly processing of Written (Risks) bordereaux, Paid Bordereaux and Claims bordereaux,
Reconciliation of claims paid bordereaux.
Ensure that risk, premium and claim data reports are received, processed and settled within specified timescales and service levels
Identifying anomalies within the bordereau will require liaising with the brokers and underwriters, documenting your findings and, if required amending entries in our systems as necessary.
Prepare and submit London Market Insurance documentation including submission of LPANs and supporting documents to Xchanging
Maintain diary system to ensure that files are appropriately progressed
Skills and Experience:
Understanding of the processes and procedures of the Lloyds marketplace.
Knowledge of binding authorities/bordereaux and cleansing/manipulating bordereaux data would be advantageous.
Ability to plan, organise and time-manage effectively.
Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Good numerical skills, with the ability to work accurately and show attention to detail.
Good written and communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
