Client Technical Manager - US Casualty

Role Responsibilities

  • Produce US Casualty Market Reform Contract and Endorsements or other required documentation compliant with London Market guidelines.

  • Use internal and external tools to ensure that documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, taxes, etc, for that jurisdiction.

  • Ensure that documents are peer-reviewed before being sent to markets and clients.

  • Consult with brokers and client services executives daily to ensure that client instructions are followed adequately.

  • Liaise with clients and insurers in a professional and timely manner where required.

  • Monito renewals and assists brokers with ensuring that these are invited and completed in good time.

  • Complete monitoring of risks (new and renewal) through their life cycle to file closure

  • Inputting & updating policies on in-house systems in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Maintaining the company’s electronic filing system in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Adherence to the company’s procedures relating to subjectivity tracking to ensure that these are actioned in good time.

  • Assist Client Services Executives and IBA with resolving any issues relating to the markets or clients' payments.

  • Use PPL to bind orders or endorsements as required by your team.

  • Manage in-house schemes where required, ensuring bordereaux were up to date and all data recorded was accurate. 

  • Follow any ad hoc processes required by your area.

  • Carrying out reviews to ensure the quality of both personal outputs and those of the wider team. 

  • Provide any necessary ad hoc support to Team Lead and other team members. 

  • Provide and undertake training as required by the line manager.

  • Mandatory completion of company-prescribed learning and adherence to FCA rules.

  • Compliance with all company procedures.

Role Requirements

  • Working or working in an insurance/financial services environment (desirable). 

  • Ability to understand US Casualty London Market Reform Contracts.

  • At least 5 A Grade GCSE including English and Maths.

  • Insurance qualifications, e.g. CII (desirable). 

  • Knowledge of London Market processes and terminology (desirable). 

  • Previous data entry and reconciliation experience. 

  • High computer literacy and intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
