One year on since the rebrand of our Group to Aventum, and a lot has happened in the 365 days since.

From day one on 4th May 2021 we made it our mission to spread the word far and wide about the adventurous new name on the specialty insurance block, and everything we stand for.

And be it a light show outside the iconic Lloyd’s building, sponsoring an up-and-coming motor racing superstar, or regularly keeping our social media followers updated on the antics of a mischievous Christmas elf, we have certainly kept to our promise of making a lot of noise.

From no one ever having heard the name Aventum a year ago, our social media following has shot up from zero to nearly 2,000.

Testament to impact of Aventum is how we’ve grown. We had roughly 200 employees when we rebranded, and today our headcount is at 270.

Bold new lines have been launched in both our broking business Consilium, and our underwriting MGA Rokstone.

These have included Aviation, Marine Cargo, US Owners’ Interest, UK Terrorism & Political Violence, and a whole new business established for US Livestock risks. Adding to that, various new lines are in the pipeline, and due to be launched very soon.

Such growth is proof of the confidence market participants have in the Aventum proposition. Confidence from capacity providers that their capital is in safe hands with us. And confidence from the market-leading talent that has joined us that Aventum is a home for them where they will be given the support and resources to grow a portfolio/business class, while retaining the independence to make their own bold decisions on what’s best.

From the outset, we have made clear that at Aventum we empower our people to forge their own paths and suggest new approaches of how to do things better.

As the numbers show, this is attractive to talented individuals that want to break away from ‘the old way’.
